The thing I love about living in Switzerland are the amazing retro signs you find around the city because there are so many old towns and buildings. Bern is listed as a UNESCO heritage site so heading into the city is definitely not sky scraper style but instead you go back in time to a medieval setting. I'm not quite sure actually how old the buildings are but it's absolutely amazing to see how much of the past is retained here. I'm hoping, when I'm able to find some time again to explore the city more, I will be able to start a typography project where I capture all the vernacular type I find and fuel the inner graphic designer nerd within us :P
